Product Description
Overview
Allied Telesyn’s multiport AT-MR420T/AT-MR820T Micro Repeaters
are a compact, inexpensive solution for all Ethernet media conversions
and Local Area Network (LAN) applications.
The AT-MR420T/AT-MR820T Micro Repeaters combine 10 Mbps
Ethernet connectivity with the same features and functionality of
larger, more expensive repeaters. At the same time, it supports full-
length cable segments with the maximum number of supported devices
allowed within IEEE 802.3 standards.
AT-MR420T/AT-MR820T Faceplates
Figure 1 and Figure 2 show the front and back panels of the two
versions, respectively. The front panel consists of eight Network Load
LEDs indicating the percentage of network utilization, and eight/
sixteen Link and Receive status LEDs for each network port. Three
additional LEDs indicate Activity, Collision, and Power for the
repeater itself.
The back panel consists of four/eight Unshielded Twisted Pair (UTP)
RJ45 network ports (including port 4/8, an uplink port), and the AUI
(10Base5) backbone network port. The three-pin AC power receptacle
is located on the far right end of the back panel.
