Asynchronous Port
Asynchronous ports are normally used to connect a terminal to the router for
configuration purposes. The default values for configurable parameters are
modified by entering the command:
SET ASYN=port-number option
The factory default settings for asynchronous ports are shown in Table 8 on
page 75.
