Using a Switch on a Desktop
You can place AT-GS900/8 and AT-GS900/8E switches on a desktop or
install them in a 19-inch rack. To install the switch in a rack, refer to
“Installing a Switch in a Rack” on page 39.
To place the switch on a desktop, perform the following procedure:
1. Remove all equipment from the package and store the packaging
material in a safe place.
2. Attach the four rubber feet to the bottom of the switch as shown in
Figure 7. Attaching the Rubber Feet
3. Place the switch on a flat, secure surface (such as a desk or table)
leaving ample space around the unit for ventilation.
