Unpacking the Switch
To unpack the switch, perform the following procedure:
1. Remove all components from the shipping package.
Note
Store the packaging material in a safe location. You must use the
original shipping material if you need to return the unit to Allied
Telesyn.
2. Place the switch on a level, secure surface.
3. Ensure the following hardware components are included in your switch
package. If any item is missing or damaged, contact your Allied
Telesyn sales representative for assistance.
For the AT-GS900/8:
ˆ One AT-GS900/8 Gigabit Ethernet switch
ˆ Two rack-mount brackets
ˆ Four rack-mount screws
ˆ Four rubber feet (for desktop use)
ˆ Two plastic anchors (for wall mounting)
ˆ Two flat-head self-tapping screws (for wall mounting)
ˆ One power cord
ˆ One power cord retaining clip
ˆ One power adapter (with AT-GS900/8LE model only)
ˆ Documentation CD
ˆ Warranty card
For the AT-GS900/8E:
ˆ One AT-GS900/8E Gigabit Ethernet switch
