Troubleshooting
This chapter contains information about how to troubleshoot the chassis
and line cards in the event that a problem occurs.
Note
The AT-CV120x model chassis does not have a status LED. To
troubleshoot a problem, refer to the LEDs on the line card or the
AT-CV5M0x Management Card.
Note
If after following the instructions in this chapter you are unable to
resolve the problem, contact Allied Telesis Technical Support for
assistance. Refer to “Contacting Allied Telesis” on page 14 for
contact information.
PWR GOOD LED is OFF
If the PWR GOOD LED on the rear panel of the AT-CV120x chassis is
OFF, perform the following:
Make sure that the power cord is securely connected to the power
source and to either of the AC connectors on the rear panel of the
chassis.
Verify that the power outlet has power by connecting another device to
it.
Try connecting the unit to another power source.
Try using a different power cord.
Check that the voltage from the power source is within the required
levels for your region.
PWR A / PWR B LED is OFF
The chassis must have at least one operational power supply, indicated by
the PWR A (power supply A) and PWR B (power supply B) LEDs.
