The AT-8516F/SC switch does not have an LED Mode Select
button.

GBIC and SFP

Expansion Slot

LEDs

The GBIC and SFP slots on the AT-8550GB and AT-8550SP switches,
respectively, have two LEDs. The LEDs display the operating status of the
fiber optic port. Use the Mode Select button on the switch to toggle the
status information displayed by the MODE LED. The LEDs are defined in
Table 8.

Indicates no link has been established between
the port and the end node.

Green

Indicates a valid link exists between the port
and the end node.

Flashing
Green

Indicates that the port is transmitting and/or
receiving data packets.

Green

Indicates that the port is operating in full-duplex
mode.

Amber

Indicates that the port is operating in half-duplex
mode.

Flashing
Amber

Indicates that data collisions are occurring on
the port.
