3. Plug the AC/DC adapter to a power outlet, as shown in Figure 23.
Refer to “Technical Specifications” on page 53 for power
requirements.

Warning
To reduce the risk of electric shock, disconnect the power cords
before servicing the unit.
4. Verify that the PWR LED on the front of the converter is green. If the
LED is OFF, refer to “Troubleshooting” on page 51 for instructions.
5. Verify that the LINK LEDs for both the GBIC port and the twisted pair
port are green. If either LED is OFF, refer to “Troubleshooting” on
page 51 for instructions.
The chassis is now ready for network operations.
