Installing an AT-MC1008 Series Converter on a
Desktop
This section explains how to install an AT-MC1008 Series converter on a
desktop.
To install an AT-MC1008 Series converter in an AT-MCR12 rackmount
chassis, refer to “Installing the Media Converter in the AT-MCR12
Chassis” on page 40.
To install an AT-MC1008 Series converter on a desktop, perform the
following procedure:
1. Remove the converter from its shipping container and store the
packaging material in a safe location.
2. Turn the converter over and place it on a secure surface.
3. Attach the rubber feet, as shown in Figure 13.

Do not apply power at this time. Proceed to “Cabling the Media
Converter” on page 42.
