Wi-Fi
Set up and manage your phone’s connections to Wi-Fi
networks.
Turning Wi-Fi On or Off
Turn your phone’s Wi-Fi service on or off. When you
turn Wi-Fi service on, your phone automatically
searches for available Wi-Fi networks.
Tip: You can also turn Wi-Fi On or Off from Notifications.
1. Press , and then tap Menu > Settings .
2. Touch Wi-Fi to turn Wi-Fi On or Off.
Smart mode
Wi-Fi connections improve battery life and allow you to
use voice and data functions at the same time.
Smart mode remembers the locations where you
spend the most time, and turns on Wi-Fi when you are
near those places.
When Smart mode is turned On, the device will
automatically connect to known networks. A known
network is one that you have previously set up on your
device. If you have never connected to a network at a
location, your device will display available networks.
1. Press , and then tap Menu > Settings .
2. Touch Smart mode , and then touch to turn
