To set external songs as background music
Convert your songs to a compatible format using the Intelli-studio
program built in to your camcorder so that the songs can be
recognized by the camcorder.

Connect the camcorder to a PC with the USB cable to run
the Intelli-studio program.

Click Tool on the Intelli-studio screen p Sending song for
Smart BGM.

Click Browse on the Smart BGM screen to select the
desired song.

Change the song’s name so that it can be recognized by
the camcorder, and then click Send
p Yes.
The song is converted to a m4a file and transferred into the
memory card in the camcorder. •

When the transfer is complete, click OK.
You can save up to 5 converted songs in the camcorder’s
memory card.

The song saved to the memory card appears on the Smart
BGM Option menu in video playback mode.
