7.3.15 Closing the housing
Test system operation for positive results
before closing the caps and allowing the
presence of a dangerous atmosphere.
Be careful not to damage the explosion
proof joint.
Insert the slide into the case by sliding it under the
guides.

Before closing the rear flange verify the
integrity of the sealing ring. If the sealing
ring is damaged replace it with the one
supplied.
Verify that in the cap there isn’t dirt or debris.
Lubricate the part coupling with the back flange with
technical vaseline oil lubricant.
Arrange the cables so that there is no interference
during the closure.
In the integrated wiper version connect the
wiring before closing the housing. (7.3.12
Enabling the wiper, page 31).
Insert the rear flange if the housing body having
aligned holes in between the two parts.
Be very careful not to damage the o-ring
gasket.
Tighten the 8 screws removed before.
Pay attention to the fixing. Tightening
torque: 9-12Nm max.

The housing must be connected to
potential equalization ground through M5
threaded hole on the back flange.

This is for supplementary bonding connection
required by law. In any case a protection earthing
conductor must be applied to the inside connector
(J9) (7.3.3 Connection of the power supply line, page
21).
