“Emergency (Trunking)” can be programmed only on the Auxiliary
(orange) key.

“GPS Position Display” can be assigned only if one of the COM ports
is configured for GPS.
“Playback” can be programmed only when the optional VGS- board
has been installed.

1 Rotate the selector or press the keys programmed as
Channel Up and Channel Down to select your desired
channel.
2 Press the Squelch Off key (default: Side 1 key) to turn the
Squelch function OFF, in order to monitor any activity on
the channel.
• The icon appears on the display.
• The LED lights green and you will hear background noise.
3 Press the PTT switch and speak into the microphone.
Release the
PTT switch to receive.
• For best sound quality at the receiving station, hold the
microphone approximately ~ 4 cm from your mouth.
