Set Molar Mass for ppmw Calculation
Use the MOL command to view and set the molar mass of the gas in the
measurement environment. The molar mass parameter is used in
calculating H
2
O ppm
w.
Some typical molar masses are:
- Air
28.96 g/mol
- N
2
28.0134 g/mol
- O
2
32.00 g/mol
- SF
6
146.06 g/mol
MOL [n]
where
n
= Molar mass (in g/mol) of the gas in the measurement
environment
Examples:
mol 146.06
Mol : 146.0600
mol
Mol : 146.0600 ?
NOTE
You can also set the molar mass when you connect the DMT152 to the
MI70 indicator.
