Tools and Materials Needed
You may need the following for this installation:
✦ Adjustable Wrench or 5/16” Wrench
✦ Flat Head Screwdriver
✦ Pliers
✦ Wire Cutters or Scissors
Installation Guidelines
✦ The power cable supplied is six feet (6’, 1,8 m) long. Mount the Second
Panel close enough to your EZ-Solar Power shelter for the power cable
to reach without stressing the power cable connections.
✦ Refer to the EZ-Solar Power Kit manual for complete mounting
instructions.
Connecting the Cables
1. Open the EZ-Solar Power shelter
door using a flat head screw-
driver.
2. Disconnect the red/white wire
from the positive (+) battery ter-
minal.
3. Disconnect the black wires from
the negative (-) battery terminal.
4. Install the Y-terminal adapters on
the battery terminals. It is a tight
fit, so you might want to use pliers
to push the Y-terminal adapters onto the battery terminals.
5. Connect the red/white wires from the regulator to the Y-terminal adapter
on the positive (+) battery terminal.
6. Connect the black wires from the regu-
lator to the Y-terminal adapter on the
negative (-) battery terminal.
7. Remove one round vent plug from the
bottom of the EZ-Solar Power Panel.
8. Run the EZ-Solar Second Panel power
cable up through the power panel vent
hole.
9. Press the power cable’s vent plug into
the vent hole until it locks into place.
