5. Getting Started with TeleNav
The TeleNav GPS Navigator application that resides within your Symbian device requires a TeleNav subscription
and means of accessing the public Internet.
TeleNav Account
You can create a TeleNav account by visiti
calling 1-888-353-6284.
Software Installation
TeleNav can be downloaded directly onto your Symbian device using its Internet Browser.
NOTE:
This approach may take 5-30 minutes depending on whether you are in GPRS or EDGE coverage.
1. Launch the Web Browser.
2. Input the OTA download link: //ota.telenav.com/ota/cbw and click the scroll key.
3. Choose
Download on the confirmation screen.
4. After the application downloads successfully, click OK.
5. After the download process has completed successfully, locate the TeleNav icon in the applications menu.
Network Access
TeleNav GPS Navigator uses the public Internet to access its servers for mapping, routing, and search services
from your device.
