Place the folded tonneau on a flat
nonabrasive surface and unclip
retention straps from cab panel and
carefully unfold the cab panel forward.

NOTE: If the vehicle key is changed the
lock cylinder will need to be replaced.
Key code your lock cylinder per these instructions.
You will need your vehicle key to complete this step.
1. Remove protective label, and remove vehicle
key from keychain.
2. Fully insert the key into the lock cylinder
before starting to rotate key.
NOTE: Do not pull left/right on key.
3. While maintaining FULL key insertion, rotate
key clockwise until it hits a stop point
(approximately 3/4 of a turn). Cylinder is
now fully coded and ready for everyday use
with two key out positions.
4. Lock/Unlock coded key five times to ensure
lock coding is set. Remove key and close lock.

NOTE: Your tonneau lock can only be coded ONE TIME.

Position EnCore side rail on truck bed and space the side rail drain edge 1” from bed
sheet metal. If the truck has a bedliner, the distance will be smaller.
NOTE: Make sure that both side rails are exactly the same distance.
Carefully locate clamps as decals indicate.
Note clamp locations: Place front clamp just behind the first clamp pin, second clamp between
2nd & 3rd pin, and rear clamp 1” from tail end of drain rail.

Reference using the 1” wide clamps as a block to set the drain rail-to-cab distance.
NOTE: For tonneauʼs with a 4th clamp - position the clamp 12" from the end of the rail at the tailgate.

Hold rail in place and PUSH side rail DOWN as you attach the clamps.
You will need assistance with this step.
