In the Mode 3 (Cinema), the monitor displays a
normal picture by stretching out the picture
horizontally and vertically. This mode is good for
displaying a cinema type picture with the
proportion of 16 to 9.
In the Mode 4 (Normal), the monitor displays
normal picture at the center of the screen with a
vertical black belt at each side.
Playing 2 Sources Simultaneously
You can listen to the audio portion of another
source while watching the picture of current
source, or you can watch the video portion of
another source while listening to current source.
NOTE
After carrying out the steps 1 to 3 of "To switch to the
display mode screen or to the picture mode" explained
on page 47, perform the operation described below.

Press the
SOURCE
button.
The main menu appears on the display.

To change only the audio portion while watching
the current video source:
Press the

(A.SEL) button to select the audio
portion.

NOTE
Operative only when the video source is DVD,
Navigation, AUX1 or AUX 2.
To change only the video portion while listening
to the current audio source:
Press the
3
(V.SEL) button to select the video
portion.
(Example)

If a DVD player is connected, you can receive
the DVD picture/sound.
DVD player (DVA-5205) or DVD changer (DHA-
S680) is connected:
Press and hold the V.OUT button on the remote
control supplied with the DVD player or DVD
changer for more than 2 seconds. The picture
and sound of the DVD will be output.

Rotate the rotary encoder and select your
desired audio source or video source, and press
the rotary encoder to execute the selection.
