Defining and installing custom-sized volumes
The Install CV function allows you to define and install one or more CVs
under an existing volume. You must convert a normal volume to space
before installing any custom-sized volumes. The installation operation does
not occur until you select OK on the VSC Confirmation window at the end
of the complete procedure.
To install a CV:
1. Choose Install CV on the Function Select window, and select OK.
The remote console now loads the configuration information. This
process may take several minutes.
The Number of CU Configuration window opens.
2. Select the number of CUs that are configured for this subsystem, and
select Next.
