Deinstalling custom volumes
Caution The Deinstall CV function is a destructive operation. The data on the CV(s)
being deinstalled will be lost when the operation is complete. The user is
responsible for backing up the data as needed before performing this
operation.
The Deinstall CV function allows you to deinstall one or more CVs. The
deinstall CV process deletes selected CVs on a VSC volume.
The deinstall CV operation does not occur until you select OK on the VSC
Confirmation window at the end of the procedure.
To deinstall custom volumes:
1. Open the Function Select window. See “Starting VSC operations”
(page 84).
2. Choose Deinstall CV on the Function Select window, and select OK.
