Installing 3PAR Management Plug-In and Recovery Manager for VMware vSphere
3PAR Management Plug-In and Recovery Manager 2.1.0 for VMware vSphere User’s Guide
To install 3PAR Management Plug-In and Recovery Manager for VMware vSphere, perform the
following:

Insert the 3PAR Management Plug-In and Recovery Manager for VMware vSphere disc into
your CD-ROM drive.

Double-click the installation package appropriate for your system to launch the installation
wizard.

Follow the installation wizard instructions.
The plug-in registration dialog box appears.
NOTE: During the installation, the “Select Installation Folder” dialog displays two
options: “Everyone” and “Just Me”. Please select “Everyone”. The “Just Me”
option will be deprecated in the next release.
NOTE: You must be an Administrator of the vCenter Server for plug-in
registration.
NOTE: You must complete the information requested in the plug-in registration
dialog box in order to complete 3PAR Management Plug-In and Recovery
Manager for VMware vSphere installation.
