3PAR Management Plug-In and Recovery Manager 2.1.0 for VMware vSphere User’s Guide
3PAR Management Plug-In and Recovery Manager for VMware vSphere has the following two
major components:
■ 3PAR Management Plug-In for VMware vCenter - Displays virtual volume mapping for easy
identification of 3PAR volumes used by virtual machines and datastores.
■ 3PAR Recovery Manager for VMware vSphere - Provides virtual copy management of 3PAR
virtual copies and recovery of virtual machines and datastores.
2.2 3PAR Management Plug-In for VMware vCenter
3PAR Management Plug-In for VMware vCenter is a free VI Client plug-in which allows easy
identification of 3PAR virtual volumes used by virtual machines and datastores and displays
commonly used volume properties and attributes.
2.2.1 Virtual Volume Details
3PAR Management Plug-In for VMware vCenter displays virtual volume information for each
volume used by a Virtual Machine (VM) or datastore via the 3PAR tab in the VI Client.
