Unable to receive SNMP traps
In order to receive SNMP traps, the iptables settings must be adjusted to allow UDP port 162
through the input firewall.
Suggested action
Add the following line to the INPUT section of /etc/sysconfig/iptables:
-A INPUT -p udp -m state --state NEW -m udp --dport 162 -j ACCEPT
Certification error is generated during installation
If the HP Insight Control for RHEV dependent product hpcs (hpcs-7.3.2.x) is uninstalled, then the
HP Insight Control for RHEV database must be manually deleted before installing a new version
of HP Insight Control for RHEV. If the database is not deleted prior to installing a new version (or
reinstalling the same version), a certification error will be generated.
Suggested action
The following script can be used to delete the database:
$ sh /opt/hp/hpcs-7.3.0.*/db_uninstall.sh
.
