Use the instructions in this section to install 3PAR Recovery Manager software on the database

and the backup hosts.

#chown : /etc/3par/solutions/lock

#chmod 550 /opt/3par/vcdbaora

# chown -R : /etc/3par/solutions/.ora.

# rpm -e VCDBAora

CAUTION: Prior to upgrading to 3PAR Recovery Manager, deinstall any previously

installed versions of Recovery Manager. To remove a previously installed package,

log on as the

root

user and use the

pkgrm VCDBAora

command.
