To calculate the capacity for the data in a hard disk drive that is associated with a CLPR, use
the following formula.
The number of parity groups: the capacity of one disk x 3 x (3D+1P)
The number of parity groups: the capacity of one disk x 6 x (6D+2P)
The number of parity groups: the capacity of one disk x 7 x (7D+1P)

Note:
To add cache memories to the storage system, install the cache memories with the Standard
Cache Access Model mode or the High Performance Cache Access Model mode. If your storage system
has any additional printed circuit boards (PCBs), the cache memories must be installed with the High
Performance Cache Access Model mode. For further information about additional cache memories, call
HP technical support.
