5.1
Introduction
The Detector and Flash Source units can be installed and maintained with
the use of general-purpose common tools and equipment. The installation
procedure has to be performed by suitably qualified personnel.
This section does not attempt to cover all of the standard practices and
codes of installation. Rather, it emphasizes specific points of consideration
and provides some general rules for suitably qualified personnel. Special
safety precautions are stressed wherever applicable.
5.2
General Considerations
5.2.1 Personnel
Only suitably qualified personnel, familiar with the local codes and practices,
trained for gas detection maintenance should be employed. Wiring should
only be performed or supervised by someone with knowledge of electronics
and in particular wiring installation.
5.2.2 Tools Required
The SafEye system requires the following tools:
Set of screwdrivers
Set of hex keys/Allan wrenches (supply with commissioning kit)
Voltage Multimeter
