7. Wireless tuning and setup software.
The Wireless Tuning and Setup software is used to help ensure the best possible radio signal and to change the
Network Number. The Network number is used to prevent farms in close proximity from interfering with each
other. The 900SS has seven network numbers (0-6). The default is 0.
7.1 Connecting 900SS for use with Wireless Software
This will require two 900SS modules. One connected to the computer and the other used to check the signal on
the controller side.
Step 1. Connect 900SS module to PC side of network as shown in
Section 6.1.
Step 2.
Connect PDA side as shown below.
7.2 Changing the Network
Number with a PDA.
Step 1. Connect 900SS to PDA as shown in Section 7.1 and turn the PDA on.
Step 5. Repeat on all 900SS
Modules.

NOTE: The Hired-Hand Wireless Installation
Tool Kit (Part Number: 6626-3500) contains a
9V Battery connection that can be used to
prevent having to connect to AC power. Do not
use both battery and wall-mount power supply
together.

Step 4. Chose desired Network
Number and then tap Save. Step 2. Launch Wireless software
by tapping Radio Setup.
