drags objects, or performs a variety of other functions
depending on the software.

TouchPad Precautions
The TouchPad is a pressure sensitive device. Please take note of the
following precautions.
Make sure the TouchPad does not come into contact with dirt,
liquids or grease.
Do not touch the TouchPad if your fingers are dirty.
Do not rest heavy objects on the TouchPad or the TouchPad
buttons.
You can use the TouchPad with Microsoft Windows as well as non-
Windows applications.
Data Storage and Retrieval
Data storage and retrieval are two of the most fundamental tasks you will
perform when working with your computer. The DeskNote is equipped
with hard disk drive (HDD). The HDD is removable allowing for easy
upgrades.
The Upgradeable HDD Module
Your computer’s hard disk drive is an integrated electronic drive,
commonly referred to as an IDE drive, with a form factor of 2.5 inches.
The formatted capacity of the DeskNote's HDD is 10GB or above.
To Upgrade Your Hard Drive
Power down the system completely. Be sure to unplug the AC adapter
before removing the drive. Disconnect any attached peripherals. Turn
the system over. The front of the unit should be facing you. The hard
disk drive (HDD) compartment is located toward the front of the unit.
