Procedure
NOTE: Replacement of the battery in the PS-B unit other than with the type specified
in this documentation may present a risk of fire or explosion.
Step Action
1 Disconnect the power supply to the PS-B unit.
2 Touch the housing or ground connection (not the power supply) to discharge
any electrostatic charge from your body.

1 Remove the black plastic cover from the battery compartment.
2 Carefully pull out the battery using removal strips.
4 The battery should not be held by its edges. Insulated tweezers may also be
used for inserting the battery.
5 Insert the new battery with correct polarity.
6 To make the next battery change easier, be sure the removal strip is in place
when inserting battery.
7 Reconnect the power supply to the PS-B unit (plug in power cable and press
power button).
8 You may need to reset the date and time in the BIOS settings.
