INSTRUCTIONS FOR DISASSEMBLY
1. Remove wire rope from drum.
2. Rotating drum where both plugs #31 are visible thru side plate. Drain oil by removing both
plugs and rotate drum until one plug is at the bottom of the hoist.
3. Remove plugs #30 and drain oil from brake.
4. When replacing lubricant, fill drum at plug #31 with 64oz
of applicable lube for your climate
from table on page 2 and fill brake at plug #30 with 16oz of applicable brake lube for your
climate from table on page 38.
5. Disconnect brake release hose #39 from elbow fittings #22. If needed elbow fittings may be
removed. Remove counterbalance valve #41 by removing (3) bolts #20. The motor #24 can be
removed by removing (2) bolts #21.
