Select Run ...
The Run dialog appears.

In the Open edit box within the Run dialog, type dcomcnfg
Step 4
Click OK.
The following dialog box will appear:
This dialog box presents a list of applications on the PC that support
DCOM.
Step 5
Select Merlin from the list of applications.
