Now, align the edges of your acquired signals by fine adjusting the deskew value of the C2 (Master) channel (the
one previously deskewed).
Note: Do not adjust the deskew of the C2 (relabeled C6, Slave) Channel since it has a zero value and is the
reference for all other adjustments. Depending on your application, it may also be possible to perform this
single‐shot fine deskew adjustment using a customized routine (refer to the Customization sections covering
XDEV in the online help on your oscilloscope for more details).
These last fine adjustments make it possible to deskew the Master and Slave with reference to each to within ~1
ps. Keep in mind that one single long acquisition using this additional fine deskew adjustment does not take any
more time than shorter acquisitions, yet it returns an equivalent or better set of data in many measurement and
analysis scenarios.
