For Optical/Detector Alignments, refer to Optical Bench layout and
circuit block diagrams below. Both beams (signals as combined on the
detector from the collecting concave mirror in the detector housing, and
viewed by an occilloscope-Refer to Optical Bench block diagram showing
test points) must be balance properly, such that the enerby levels obtained are
evenly balanced. This is done by slight modification to the mechanical
alignments between the source assembly, sample cell and detector housings.
