PUMP CALIBRATION -

Note: If you would like to check out the ratio output between the resin and
catalyst pumps, the use of graduated containers will simplify the process. The
resin pump will dispense approximately 100 times more than the catalyst pump
dispenses. Therefore, appropriate containers must be sized accordingly.

Be sure to have air pressure to the power head of the resin pump and all air purged
from the resin and catalyst lines. Place the graduated containers under the dispensing
nozzles of the parallel ball valves (resin on the left, catalyst on the right). Open the ball
valve and allow the pump to stroke 4 or 5 times. Note the volume of material in each
container. Divide the volume of resin into the volume of catalyst. This will give you the
percentage of catalyst to resin.

IF THE METERING PERCENTAGE IS OFF -

Check catalyst pump for air lock. Turn off air supply to resin pump. Bleed fluid pressure.
Disconnect upper bearing block at the top of the catalyst pump from slave arm. With
valves open, stroke catalyst pump by hand. If material is not delivered evenly on both
up and down stroke, catalyst pump must be repaired.
