The system contains electronic components that react sensitively to elec-
trostatic discharge (ESD).
Contact with electrostatically charged persons or objects can endanger
these components. In the worst case they may be immediately destroyed or
fail after commissioning.
Observe the requirements of EN 100 015 - 1 in order to avoid or mini- •
mize the risk of damage caused by sudden electrostatic discharges.
Pay attention not to touch electronic components when the supply volt-

age is switched on.

recognized technical safety regulations and represents state-of-the-art
technology. However, dangers may nevertheless arise.
Operate the Power I/O Box Type 8643 only when it is in proper working •
order and only in accordance with the operating manual.

as well as unauthorized tampering with the device release us from any
liability and also invalidate the warranty covering the devices and acces-
