6.4.7 Terminals Sensor
The Power I/O Box Type 8643 has eight NAMUR sensor inputs, where two
sensors are always assigned to one actuator output.
The sensors indicate
the position of a connected process valve. However, they can also return
other process values (e. g. control keys, scraper end positions ...) indepen-
dently of actuator outputs.
The sensor inputs are designed with ignition protection type ia.
