You can reconnect using either Telnet or a Web browser to verify that the
update was successful.

After verifying that the IP address change was successful, enter and issue the
“arp –d” command at the DOS prompt. For example:
arp –d 10.13.197.7 removes 10.13.197.7 from the ARP table
or
arp –d* removes all static IP addresses from the ARP table.
Configuring the IPL 250 with Global Configurator
After you install the Global Configurator (GC)
software on the PC and have download
device drivers, do the following:
• create a GC project file
• configure the IPL 250 and other IPL devices
• launch the GlobalViewer
®
interface
• test the configuration and the system
The Global Configurator Help file includes
an introduction to the software
("Introduction") and a section ("Getting
Started") on how to start a Global
Configurator project. It also features step-by-
step instructions on the basic tasks involved
in configuring an IPL 250.
An example of the topics available in the
GC help file is shown at right. Sections
recommended for your reading are indicated
by boxes in the figure at right.
