7. For the Thermal Probe Expansion Kit, select the battery on which the probe is to be mounted. It is recommended that thermal
probe be mounted as close to the physical middle of the string as possible (example, Cell #3 of 4). See Figure 4.

8. Attach thermal probe to the negative (-) Post of the selected battery. See Figure 5.

9. At the front left of the CPS6000 shelf, on the controller display go to Main Menu èStatusè Batteries and scroll down
to Temp Probes (n) and verify that the controller displays the correct number of probes (For example: n=2 for two probes
installed.)
