5. Plug modular connector into P5 which is located on the System Controller on the left side of the power shelf. P5 will be
labeled as PROBE TEMP and is the connector that is located under an insulator flap farthest back on the controller. See
Figure 4.

6. From the front left of the shelf, on the display go to Main Menu Status Batteries and scroll down to Temp
Probes (n) and verify that the controller sees that a n=1 for one probe installed.
7. Verify that the system controller is configured for the type of batteries in the system (i.e. Lead-Acid, Lithium, NiCad, etc.) For
details on how to do this, see Appendix 1.
