5 Lifetime and thermal behavior
5.1 Flux as a function of temperature

5.2 Lifetime
OSRAM PrevaLED ® Core Z3 modules have a lifetime of

means that after 50 000 hours, over 50 % of the used modu-
les will have more than 70 % of the initial luminous fl ux. If you
operate the module at a lower t

point temperature, the life-
time of the module is going to rise signifi cantly.
Note: Higher t

temperatures lead to a shorter lifetime of the
PrevaLED ® Core Z3 LED modules. Moreover, the failure rate
will also increase.
