Mounting Suggestions for the Kawasaki
Vulcan 1600 Classic 2003-2008 and Nomad
2005-2008 Tank Bib
Tools Required:
• Metric Wrenches
• Metric Allen Wrenches

Mounting of Mustang Tank Bib
1. Remove seat then remove the two tank mounting bolts
with a 12 mm wrench.
2. With a 4 mm Allen wrench remove the three dash
mounting bolts, then lift the chrome cover off the tank.
3. Lift the speedometer bracket up just enough to slide our
tank bib under it. Align the hole in the bib with the boss
on the tank then push the speedometer bracket back
into place.
4. Reinstall the chrome dash with the removed Allen
bolts. Tighten with a 4 mm Allen wrench.
5. Install the two tank mounting bolts through the holes in
bib first then into bike’s frame. Tighten with a 12 mm
wrench.
6. Reinstall seat.
