Mounting Suggestions
Yamaha V-Star 1100 Classic 2000-2009 &
Silverado 2002-2009
Two-Piece Seat
Tools Required:
• Metric Wrenches
Hardware:
• White Nylon Washer (Included)
Baseplate Features:
The two-piece, marine-grade fiberglass baseplate directly
replaces the stock two-piece seat. Rubber bumpers are
positioned to prevent the seat from touching the frame and
fender.
Stock Seat Removal Steps
1. Remove 8 mm screw from fender.
2. Slide passenger seat back to remove.
3. Remove 8 mm screw behind solo.
4. Slide solo back and up to remove.
Mounting of Mustang Seat
1. Slide nose bracket on front of solo into receiver at base of gas tank.
2. Secure rear of solo to fender with stock 8 mm screw.
3. Slide bracket on front of passenger seat under fender bracket.
4. Secure rear of passenger seat to fender with stock 8 mm screw. On models with 8 mm stud,
put white washer between fender and the seat's rear chrome triangle and secure with stock
cap nut.
