Mounting Suggestions for the Honda
VTX1300 Retro, S & T Two-Piece Seat
Tools Required:
• 6 mm Allen Wrench
• 8 mm Allen Wrench
Hardware:
• Stock 6 mm Fender Screw
• Stock 8 mm Allen Bolt
Baseplate Features:
The two-piece, marine-grade fiberglass
baseplate is a direct replacement for the stock
two-piece seat. Rubber bumpers are positioned
to protect the frame and fender.
Stock Seat Removal Steps
1. Remove the stock rear 6 mm fender screw and
the stock 8 mm screw on each side of the
passenger seat. These will be used again to
mount your new Mustang Two-Piece Seat.
2. Lift passenger seat and hand strap off bike.
3. Remove the two stock 8 mm solo bolts. These
will be used again to mount the Solo of your
new Mustang Two-Piece Seat
Lift rear of solo up and the slide back to remove.

. Remove the two stock 8 mm screws holding the
passenger seat mounting bracket to the fender.
Remove the bracket as it is not used with the
Mustang seat.
