Mounting Suggestions

Solo Seat
Tools Required:
• Phillips Screwdriver
• Allen Wrench Set
Hardware:
• Stock 1/4-20 Rear Fender Screw
• Fender Nut Kit (Included
Baseplate Features:
The baseplate is made of marine-grade fiberglass,
3/16" thick, finished in high gloss gel coat. Polyurethane
rubber bumpers prevent it from touching the frame and
fender and minimize vibration.
Stock Seat Removal Steps
1. Remove the rear fender screw and set aside. The stock
rear fender screw will be used to attach your new
Mustang Solo Seat.
2. Lift back of seat up about 1" then push seat forward until
the slotted center of the seat releases from the frame's
shoulder bolt. (Fig. I)

Mounting of Mustang Seat
1. Install supplied fender nut kit into the hole

(or "on top of")
of the
fender.
2. Engage nose bracket into the frame at the base of the fuel
tank, just like the stock seat. (Fig. II)
3. Secure the back of the solo seat to the fender with stock
fender screw to complete the installation process. (Fig. III)
