28. Remove the driver side front stock diff bracket bolt using a 18mm socket and wrench.
See Photo 24.
29. Install the 3/4 hiem joint into the steering brace bracket, insert the hiems and adjust until 1.25 ” from the bracket to cen-
ter of the ball. Use the supplied set screws to lock the hiems into place.

30. Using the new supplied 7/16 ” x 4.5” bolt, locknut, and washer, place the bolt through the bracket, frame, and diff bush-
ing and hand tighten. Install the new steering shaft extension into the 3/4 hiems and slide the stock steering shaft onto
steering extension using stock bolt.

31. Install both upper control arm support brackets onto upper control arm drops brackets using 3/8 ” x 1.25” bolt, washers,
nuts but do not tighten at this time.

32. Install upper control arm drops onto truck using supplied 9/16 ” x 4” bolts and nuts using four cam lock washer per side
with one cam lock washer with a tail on the back side for the ABS wire.
