JEEP JK CLASS III - 2” RECEIVER HITCH
Thank you for choosing Rough Country for all your suspension needs.
Please read instructions before beginning installation. Check the kit hardware against the kit contents shown below. Be
sure you have all needed parts and know where they go.
To install this receiver hitch you will need a 18mm wrench to remove the OEM tow hook, if equipped, and a 5/8” wrench.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. For vehicles equipped with OEM Tow Hook: Remove the factory hardware securing the factory hook with a 18mm
wrench. Remove the tow hook bracket. See Figure 1. Use caution to make sure muffler is not hot.
2. Install the new Rough Country bracket in the same location as the stock bracket was removed and using the 4 sup-
plied 7/16 bolts, lock washers as shown in Figure 2. The new bracket will utilize 4 of the factory holes in the frame
as the stock bracket only used 3.Tighten hardware to 50 ft/lbs.

Do not exceed 2,000 lbs factory
towing capacity of the Jeep JK
and do exceed a maximum
tongue weight of 350 lbs.
