INSTALLATION

1-Carrier Bearing Drop Bracket
1-Poly bag Containing
2-7/16” x 1” bolts
4-7/16” washers
2-7/16” nylock
1-1/2” x 1.25” bolt
2-1/2” washers
1-1/2” nylock
Tools Needed:
14mm socket
5/8” socket/ wrench
3/4” socket/ wrench
Torque Specs

1. For vehicles with 2 piece drive shafts, support the driveshaft, using a 14mm socket remove the bolts from
the carrier bearing bracket.
2. Insert the carrier bearing spacer between the bearing bracket and body mount. Use the factory bolts to bolt
the bracket to the body mount with a 14mm socket. The center hole uses the supplied 1/2” x 1.25” long bolt,
washers, and nylock. Install the bolt from the top side facing downward. Tighten with a 3/4” socket and
wrench. See Photo 1
3. Reattach the carrier bearing using the supplied 7/16”x 1” bolts, washers, and nylocks. Tighten with a 5/8”
socket and wrench. See Photo 2
POST INSTALLTION INSTRUCTIONS
1. Check to ensure for adequate clearance between all rotating, mobile, fixed, and heated members.
2. All components must be retightened after 500 miles, and every three thousand miles after installation
