VEGAMET 515

In the example illustrating weir control, two
linked measurements are shown. The gauge
difference is measured on each weir with one
VEGAMET 515. Normally two sensors would
be required for each VEGAMET. However,
since the gauge value of the upstream water
is valid for both VEGAMETs, one sensor is
sufficient for the upstream water. The input
signal of sensor 1 (upstream water) is trans-
mitted via the DISBUS cable from one
VEGAMET (MET04) to the other VEGAMET.
The value of sensor 1 is therefore available to
both signal conditioning instruments.
