5 Setup
• Adjust the VEGAMET instrument address
with the rotary switch on the circuit board
(if measured values should be transferred
via the DISBUS cable to external instru-
ments, e.g. to VEGADIS 174 indicating
instrument, VEGACOM 557 interface con-
verter or VEGAMET).
• Install VEGAMET.
• Connect sensor and power supply.
• After switching on, the display indicates for
approx. 10 secs the instrument type and
the software version, e.g. "MET 515
V1.12“.
• If no measurement loop has yet been
configured, the display shows "Configura-
tion“, the red fault indicator LED also lights.
In this case, proceed as described under
"6.1 Configuration measurement loop“.
• If a measurement loop has already been
configured, the display shows a value, e.g.
"TAG-No. 1 21.8 %“.You can now carry out
the settings.
