Auxiliary
Paper Tray 1. Switch the printer power OFF, and disconnect the printer power cord
and data cable from the printer.
2. Use two people to move the printer to a temporary location while the
auxiliary paper tray is prepared for installation.
3. Remove the auxiliary paper tray from the shipping box and place it on
a stable surface where the printer will be located for normal operation.
4. Remove the auxiliary paper tray drawer from the auxiliary tray
chassis and remove the packing materials from the paper tray
compartment (Figure 1).
5. Verify the tray locking mechanism on the auxiliary paper tray chassis
(shown in the locked position in Figure 2) is retracted below the
chassis surface (unlocked position) by rotating the metal shaft
clockwise (Figure 2
