RE-START 7001
High-Performance Alkaline Plate Cleaner
Description: Re-start 7001 is a water based alkaline plate cleaner that will effectively remove lint,
ink, and sensitivity from the printing plate. This product contains ingredients that will
desensitize the non-image area of the plate and provide clean, fast start-ups for
reduced paper waste. Re-start 7001 is easy to use, either by hand or spray and
contains negligible VOC’s and no phosphates.
Directions for Use: Hand – Apply Re-start 7001 to a clean dampened rag, cloth, or sponge. Wipe across
plate surface until ink and contaminants are removed.
Spray
– Squirt the Re-start 7001 onto the dampening roller while press is running to
clean the plate up on a re-start or start-up. Do not over use, as the excess water may
break the web.
